Questions, answered.

How much does Impartial CMS cost?

Pro is $49 a month or $468 a year for 5 hosted sites and 1,000 AI credits a month. Agency is $149 a month or $1,428 a year for unlimited sites, 4,000 AI credits a month and bulk migration. Hosting, SSL, the editor, analytics and the form inbox are included in both.

What is an AI credit?

One credit is one cent of measured Claude usage, counted per AI turn from real token usage. A full multi-page site build typically uses 100 to 150 credits; a targeted edit such as "make the hero darker" uses about 3 to 15. Editing by hand in the visual editor never uses credits.

What if I run out of credits?

Buy a top-up pack: 1,000 credits for $15, one time. Top-up credits never expire and are used after your monthly credits. Your monthly allowance refreshes each billing period.

Is hosting included?

Yes. Every published site is hosted with SSL: on a subdomain, on your own custom domain, or on a dedicated Railway deployment built from its GitHub repository. Publishing is instant and every publish is saved as a version you can restore.

How does agency migration work?

Paste up to 200 client site URLs or upload a CSV. The CMS crawls each site, rebuilds it with AI (faithful to the original or a redesign), audits and fixes it, publishes it and can deploy each one to Railway. Ten rebuilds run at once. You get a redirect map CSV and a DNS checklist for every site.

I already have sites built in code. Do I have to rebuild them?

No. Impartial Connect links an existing repository, maps every editable string to its exact source location and lets you or your client edit content on the live site. Changes are written back as minimal, verified diffs, committed directly or as a pull request.

Who owns my sites and content?

You do. Export any site as clean static HTML at any time, sync it to your own GitHub repository, or deploy it to your own Railway project. Connected sites never leave your repository; we only write the commits you approve.

Do the built-in analytics need a cookie banner?

The analytics set no cookies and store no persistent identifiers. Visitors are counted with a salted hash that rotates every day, and raw events are kept for 90 days. You can turn analytics off per site.
